Gerry is a member of the Tax Group in New England and has nearly 40 years of experience serving multinational companies in a wide range of insurance and asset management market segments. He has extensive experience with tax planning, income tax accounting, quality financial reporting, and tax compliance services. Gerry’s expertise extends to joint venture and acquisition structuring, investment tax considerations, and reinsurance and life insurance reserve planning.
Gerry has experience with federal, state, and international tax minimization strategies and frequently consults on topics related to accounting for income taxes, corporate tax planning, and tax risk management. Prior to joining CBIZ & MHM, he served in multiple leadership roles including Tax Consulting Partner at a “Big Four” firm; Vice President of Global Tax Reporting at Nassau Financial Group, a leading insurance provider; and Global Tax Planning Leader at TIAA, a Fortune 100 financial service entity.
