Chip has more than 30 years of experience in the employee benefits and consulting industry. He began his career with a leading group insurance company as a group sales representative in the Ohio marketplace. He joined Alexander and Alexander in Louisville, Kentucky as a Benefits Consultant and later became VP of their Benefits Operation. He was promoted to their Detroit, Michigan office to manage their largest clientele and build a strong benefits practice. This led his career with A&A to Tampa, Florida where he became their Southeast Regional Director managing 7 regional offices while handling several of their largest clients. Following A&A’s merger with Aon Corporation, Chip transferred back to the Detroit market to consolidate offices and transition the largest A&A clients into Aon. Following this successful transition, Chip joined Arthur J. Gallagher as Area President of their largest employee benefits practice to provide consulting services to their larger clients and manage a multi-disciplined consulting staff including health and welfare, retirement and individual wealth management services. Following his successful tenor at AJG, Chip and his family moved back to family in Ohio and joined the Dublin office of CBIZ in 2003 as a Sr. Benefits Consultant responsible for middle market business development and consulting. Chip has been with CBIZ in this position for 11+ years.
