Dan is a Senior Managing Director and Central Region Leader. He is also a member of the CBIZ CPAs Board of Directors.
Dan oversees the overall management of the Central Region, including financial performance, strategic planning efforts, and client satisfaction. A Certified Public Accountant and Certified Valuation Analyst, he has been providing tax, accounting and consulting services to middle-marketing companies and their owners for over 30 years.
Dan’s emphasis is in partnership and corporate income tax matters, individual taxation, and dealing with the IRS. His specific experience includes tax planning for transactions, corporate provisions, entity structure and reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, business and tax planning, and due diligence.
Dan’s clients represent a diverse range of industries, including real estate, construction, venture capital, manufacturing, professional practices, retail and wholesale.
Dan was a Shareholder at The Seff Group, P.C. for 24 years until the Company was acquired by CBIZ in 2016. He started his career in accounting at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a tax and audit specialist.
