Jakob’s primary focus is in state and local compliance, reporting issues for many of our clients. He also is a member of our Large Business and International Tax team. These two skill sets have enabled him to become a front-runner in addressing state and local tax issues for individuals, corporations, partnerships and LLCs. His time is concentrated on providing multi-state and international income tax planning, compliance related issues and income tax accounting. His capability has allowed Somerset to successfully offer resolutions in state tax controversies, restructuring, due diligence, notice responses, audit defense, voluntary disclosure projects and state credit opportunities.
