Janet is a member of the Accounting and Auditing Group and the Not-For-Profit & Education Practice in New England. Prior to joining CBIZ & MHM* in 2008, she was a Senior Audit Manager in the Boston office of a National firm in the Higher Education and Not-For-Profit Practice. Janet has extensive experience providing audit and consulting services exclusively to the not-for-profit industry, including the social services, healthcare, human services, cultural, and educational sectors. She manages financial statement audits and offers recommendations on internal controls, operations and accounting issues.
Additionally, Janet has developed expertise in the area of regulatory and reimbursement issues for various types of agencies, including Chapter 766 schools, adult day health centers, nursing homes, home health organizations, CCRCs, social service organizations, and other human service providers. She also has extensive Single Audit experience, and is a leader in the organization’s Single Audit specialty group. Janet is recognized in the social and human services industry as an expert on regulatory reporting issues and requirements and has been a featured speaker at various workshops and seminars.
