Janet has more than thirty years of experience in the employee benefits industry. She has held various positions with life insurance companies and health care organizations with responsibilities ranging from group contract development to product design and marketing. Before joining CBIZ in 1996, she worked for over 5 years with an employee benefits consulting firm as a technical consultant in the areas of ERISA compliance and product funding, design, and administration.
Janet’s role at CBIZ is to provide broker and consulting services. She works with her clients and their service providers and insurers to manage plan costs while providing a competitive level of benefits. She negotiates renewals and agreements on behalf of her clients and keeps them apprised of any legislative or industry trends that may impact their benefit plans.
Special industries of focus include public entities, school districts, and defense contractors including employees subject to the Service Contract Act and collectively bargained agreements.
