Jay is a Managing Director in the tax department of the Kansas City office where he specializes in tax compliance, planning, and consulting services in the construction and manufacturing/distribution industries. He is the lead Tax Managing Director of the Kansas City Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Team. Jay works closely with business owners and their internal accounting teams to ensure tax issues are considered and addressed in a timely and effective manner. His daily responsibilities include overseeing tax engagements, strategic tax planning, and consulting on accounting and tax issues for corporations, passthrough entities, and closely held businesses. In addition, Jay focuses on tax planning strategies for the affiliated individuals.
