Kent is a Director in CBIZ’s Forensic Consulting Group and is located in our Bakersfield, California office. Kent is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed by the California and Washington State Boards of Accountancy. He is also Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Kent has practiced in public accounting since 2011, primarily in the areas of forensic accounting and business valuation services. He specializes in litigation engagements involving marital dissolutions, business valuations, shareholder disputes, and fund tracing. Mr. Swartzberg also performs business valuations for estate and gift tax purposes and buy‐sell agreements. Kent has experience within a variety of industries, including agriculture, real estate, petroleum, retail, service, manufacturing, wholesale, construction, energy production and professional practices, among others. He has been designated as an expert and testified in the Kern County Superior Court.
