Lisa is a Lead Managing Director and the Tax Practice Leader in the CBIZ Kansas City office. In addition, she is the Tax Leader of the Not-for-Profit Industry Practice in KC and a member of the CBIZ National Not-for-Profit Tax Technical Community. Lisa has spent over half of her nearly 30 year tax career at CBIZ. Her responsibilities include oversight of NFP tax engagements, management of client tax compliance, tax-exempt status application and maintenance, UBIT consulting, IRS and state audit representation, authoring articles on not-for-profit issues, and NFP tax technical research.
Lisa is an active member of American Institute for Public Accounting’s (AICPA) Not-for-Profit section, as well as Missouri Society of CPAs’ (MOCPA) Not-for-Profit Committee and is often called upon as a presenter and tax expert. In addition, Lisa often authors articles on timely not-for-profit issues and technical tax matters.
