Michael is an experienced accounting professional in the Kansas City, Missouri office and leads the Professional Services Industry Practice. Michael works with clients in a variety of industries, focusing primarily on service-based, manufacturing, distribution and software clients. Michael focuses on complex and specialized issues, develops and maintains productive relationships with clients, and develops an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk. He is responsible for all areas of client service from relationship management to supervision of the engagement team’s day-to-day activities of various attest engagements. As shareholder it is his job to serve as the client’s trusted advisor, identify client issues and conflicts and proactively communicate solution options to the client and team.
