Michelle is a member of the Accounting and Auditing Group and the Not-For-Profit & Education Practice in New England. She is also the not-for-profit subject matter expert in our National Professional Standards Group and leads our local Uniform Grant Guidance and Compliance Practice.
Michelle has more than 25 years of audit experience and specializes in serving not-for-profit organizations, including managing financial statement and Uniform Grant Guidance audits; assisting in bond offerings; providing recommendations on internal controls, operations, and accounting issues; assisting in board support and development; and training other accounting and auditing professionals to provide support to not-for-profit clients. She has worked with numerous not-for-profit and highereducation organizations in the New England area. Prior to joining CBIZ & MHM* in 2005, she was a Senior Manager in the Boston office of Grant Thornton LLP where she acted as the co-leader for the Boston higher education and not-for-profit practice.
