CMS Issues New Updated Medicare Part D Notices

CMS Issues New Updated Medicare Part D Notices

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have developed new model Medicare Part D notices to be used on or after June 15, 2008:

Nothing has changed with regard to when, and to whom, the notices must be provided.  The only thing that has changed is the model document(s) to be used.  These notices are currently only available in English; hopefully, the Spanish editions should be made available soon.

All three model notices and disclosure guidance can be viewed and/or downloaded via CMS’ website
